Artists
Are you an emerging to professional artist looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, have a space you can work quietly, or a place to work alongside other artists on collaborative art projects? Are you looking to learn the ‘business’ side of being an artist, or find opportunities to share and sell your work? Maybe you just like to sketch or write, and would like to be around other artists.
If any of these sound like you, contact us! We are looking for artists to join us at Young @ Art!!
Public Arts Projects
Young @ Art is currently seeking artists of all skill levels to join us in community mural projects!
We will be expanding our public art projects into other mediums as well. If you have an interest in designing, drawing, painting, or spraying and would like to work with other artists on public art projects, contact us!
Teach Class
Do you have artistic skills you are willing to teach young artists? Maybe you’ve learned in art school or are self taught. If you are interested in sharing your skills in a class demonstration or workshop, we would love to hear from you! We have students ages 15 and up who are interested in expanding their artistic knowledge and fine tuning their interests. Contact us to share your ideas and find out how you can help our young artists!
Mentor
Maybe you have become a professional artist or have learned enough skills to help a young artist navigate the art world. Perhaps, you would be interested in assisting artists as they work and offering your guidance and knowledge on a one-on-one basis. If you are, Y@A would love to talk to you about how you can help a young artist! Please Contact us to find out more.
Volunteer
Are you seeing a local community group to volunteer with? Do you have an interest or background in the arts or in education? Are you willing to give a few hours a week, or month? If you do we at Young @ Art would like to talk with you about how you can make a difference in the lives of our artists and help make Y@A a success! We have opportunities in all areas of our Non-Profit, from guiding artists, programing events, fundraising, and helping out with projects. Please contact us for more information.
Donations
Help us make Young @ Art the amazing community arts center we envision it to be! We have a list of supplies that are needed and appreciated. We are open on Saturdays from 11-4 and any arts supplies can be dropped off then. For other arrangements please contact us at Info@YoungAtArtCT.org.
Your monetary donation will also help a young artist have the supplies and instruction they need to become successful! Thank you!
